In Overflow, Lori Mirabelli embraces exuberance through a richly layered abstract composition in mixed media on canvas. The lower half of the painting bursts with saturated colour—teals, cobalt blues, coral pinks, lime greens, and mustard yellows—forming a dense, organic cluster that feels spontaneous and alive.

Above, softer expanses of white and pale grey create breathing space, allowing the vibrant forms to expand visually. Scribbled lines and textured passages weave through the colour fields, suggesting motion and accumulation. The palette is playful yet sophisticated, with bold hues grounded by earthy undertones and neutral balance.
