Platform 07 evokes the atmosphere of transit and pause through an abstract composition realised in mixed media on canvas. A horizontal expanse of muted green and slate tones dominates the centre, layered with gestural markings and fragments of graphic text that hint at urban signage.
The upper portion introduces vertical stripes of bold, saturated colour—crimson, ochre, emerald, cobalt—bringing rhythm and contrast to the composition. The palette juxtaposes industrial greys and mossy greens with vibrant accents, creating tension between order and spontaneity. Drips and scratched lines lend the surface a raw, contemporary edge.
This original artwork reflects Mirabelli’s abstract practice, where structure meets intuition. Platform 07 is available for sale at Signet Contemporary Art and online.
