Supergrove Trees, Gardens by the Bay

Painted in oil on canvas, Supergrove Trees, Gardens by the Bay captures the futuristic spectacle of Singapore’s iconic Supertrees in Bisbee’s bold abstracted cityscape style. The neon pink and violet sky floods the canvas with energy, while the Supertrees stretch upwards like luminous sculptures, accented by playful greens and deep textures.

Artist statement: My dad took a photo in Singapore of the Supergrove Trees and I used it for reference in my painting studio. The composition needed to be altered because I wanted to highlight the main focal point, The Supergrove Trees. Like I do in so many of my paintings, I distort the elements to give them more emphasis. I used a glaze of neon pink over blue to create an otherworldly sort of purple textures in the sky to make the scene even more playful.

The result is a painting alive with imagination, fusing architectural marvel with artistic vision. Bisbee’s palette heightens the surreal beauty of the scene, turning Singapore’s ecological innovation into a radiant dreamscape.
