Cola Bears and Cola by Ian Bertolucci is an original still life realism painting that combines playful subject matter with the meticulous precision of hyper-realism. Featuring bears and cola jelly candies painted in a repeated grid, the artwork transforms familiar sweets into a vibrant and visually engaging contemporary still life.
The repeated grid composition creates a strong sense of rhythm and pattern, while the detailed painting technique brings out the distinctive shapes, textures and colourful appearance of the jelly candies. The result is a playful yet sophisticated artwork that captures the nostalgia and visual appeal of iconic confectionery while presenting it through the refined language of contemporary fine art.
Painted in oil on linen, Cola Bears and Cola measures 80 × 80 cm, giving the work a bold square format that makes an immediate impact on the wall. Its colourful colour scheme brings energy and personality to the composition, making it an eye-catching choice for collectors of original contemporary art and for interiors looking for a distinctive statement piece.
The artwork is signed and ready to be displayed, making it a beautiful addition to an existing collection or a striking standalone artwork.
