Jay Blue Forest by Paul Treasure is a striking original abstract textured landscape painting, combining expressive contemporary abstraction with the atmospheric beauty of the natural world.
Measuring 80 x 80cm on canvas, with a framed size of 90 x 90cm, the artwork is painted in oil on linen and presented in an elegant white frame. The composition depicts a captivating forest landscape, featuring a richly textured bluebell carpet beneath delicate birch trees, creating a sense of depth, movement and natural tranquillity.
Treasure’s abstract contemporary style transforms the familiar woodland setting into an expressive visual experience. Layers of texture and colour create an impression of the forest floor, while the slender birch trees provide a striking vertical contrast within the composition. The combination of abstraction and recognisable landscape elements gives the work a dreamlike and immersive quality.
The blue and green colour palette evokes the cool, peaceful atmosphere of a woodland in bloom. Rich blues suggest the dense carpet of bluebells, while varying shades of green add depth and organic movement to the forest setting. The restrained use of colour creates a harmonious and sophisticated appearance, allowing the textural qualities of the painting to take centre stage.
Presented in a white frame, Jay Blue Forest is signed by the artist, framed and ready to display, making it an ideal statement piece for a contemporary home, living space, office, entrance hall or design-led interior.
Its generous square format and expressive surface make the artwork particularly appealing to collectors of original landscape paintings, abstract art, textured artwork and contemporary British art. The atmospheric woodland subject combined with Treasure’s abstract approach gives the piece a distinctive character and strong decorative appeal.
Signed, framed and ready to display, Jay Blue Forest is an evocative original painting by Paul Treasure, offering collectors a contemporary interpretation of the British landscape through colour, texture and expressive abstraction.
