Mallard Green is a luminous celebration of water, foliage, and reflected light. Painted in oil on canvas, the work captures a vibrant riverside landscape where dense vegetation meets a still reflective surface. Treasure’s energetic handling of paint gives the scene a remarkable sense of life and movement.
The colour palette is bright and joyful, featuring layered greens, sky blues, creamy whites, soft pinks, and touches of golden yellow. Reflections scatter these colours across the water, creating an ever-changing mosaic of light. The thickly applied paint introduces texture and dimension, encouraging viewers to appreciate the work both from a distance and up close.
Blending realism with impressionist sensibilities, Treasure distils the landscape into colour, texture, and atmosphere. The painting evokes the freshness of a warm day by the water, where sunlight transforms even the smallest details into something extraordinary. Mallard Green is an original oil on canvas artwork and is available for sale at Signet Contemporary Art Gallery and online.
